After completing the booking request steps you will receive an email letting you know we have received your request.
At the time of making your request you authorise a 25% deposit payment to be taken. Hackett’s review your booking request and will notify you promptly if we have accepted your request. It is at this point that your booking deposit is processed and completed.
Full payment of the remaining balance must be paid 5 weeks before your stay.
Cancellation Policy
Making an Online Booking Request
After you have entered the dates of your stay and the number of guests, you will be notified that your dates are available and the cost of your stay with us. After completing the booking request steps you will receive an email letting you know we have received your request. To secure the dates, we require a 25% non-refundable deposit. At the time of booking you authorise this payment to be taken. Hackett’s review your booking request and will notify you that we have accepted your request. It is at this point that your booking deposit is processed and completed.

The full payment is not refundable, but may be transferrable to new dates. If full payment is not made, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
Changing Dates / Cancellations
Once your booking has been confirmed by us, we may accept amendments received from you within 48 hours of the initial booking, pending availability. Changes cannot be made at the commencement of your stay. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation if payment is not made in full. If any portion of the booked period is cancelled after arrival or during your stay, we are not able to refund any payments made.
Where a cancellation is made 3 months or more prior to the commencement date of the booking, we will refund your deposit (less €100 admin fee). Where a cancellation is made less than 3 months, but more than 6 weeks, prior to the commencement date of the booking, we will endeavour to secure a booking for the cancelled dates. If we are able to arrange another booking for the same period and for the same rental price, a refund will be provided (less admin fee). If we are unsuccessful in arranging an alternative booking, your deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your booking after full payment is made, you can re-book with us, pending availability. We are unable to refund any money paid, when full payment has been made.
Security Deposit
All bookings are subject to a refundable security deposit of €400. This must be paid via bank transfer 7 days before arrival. The security deposit will be returned within 7-10 days of departure after the house has been checked.
Any breakages/damage should be reported before departure.
